Working with a coalition of experts in public health, data analytics, media, and marketing Beat The Virus puts focus on empowering the masses with the information they need during every stage of the fight against COVID-19.
The Beat The Virus website and social posts aim to be clear, easy to read, and eye-catching, making them important, accessible, understandable to large swaths of the general public. Color and iconography become a key element in navigating a resource that presents an impressive amount of information.
Taking forms from the logo, a set of abstract iconography was created to assist in navigation through the website’s main informative pages. The motion which is activated by hovering over the section elements further draws the user toward clicking deeper into the site.
With segments of data provided by the CDC, 360DESIGN was able to create a custom graph that pulls from various data sets and allows users to interact with a graph that can cross analyze metrics on sex, race, and age for both cases and deaths.
